FOUNDATION STORY
Mookie Betts grew up in Tennessee where his mom was his first little league baseball coach. Showing exceptional talent Betts signed to the University of Tennessee while still a junior in high school but was recruited to play for the Boston Red Sox in 2011. Only two years after his official rookie season. Mookie is an MVP and two time World Series Champion.
Growing up his parents instilled in him the desire to give back and support charities. In his free time, Mookie is an avid bowler and wanted to use his favorite hobby as a way to give back. In 2023 Mookie held his first annual “Mookie Betts and Friends Bowling Tournament to raise funds for his foundation. He believes in breaking the barriers that hold kids back from their potential to make a bigger difference in this world.
